Shuddi – The Purification is a haunting tale of justice, trauma, and vengeance. A bright and ambitious college student’s life is shattered when she becomes the victim of a brutal sexual assault. As the system drags its feet, a seasoned yet emotionally scarred police officer takes the case personally. Driven by both duty and a buried personal wound, he tracks down the culprits with relentless determination.
But instead of delivering them to a broken judicial system, he makes a harrowing decision — to let the victim choose their fate. What follows is a chilling descent into vengeance, as she exacts retribution in the same heinous manner in which her life was destroyed.
As the boundaries between justice and cruelty blur, Shuddi raises hard questions: Can vengeance truly purify the soul? Or does it leave deeper scars in the name of justice?
DIVINE FIRES
A Music Video Inspired by the Potraj Community & Indian Spiritual Traditions
Genre: Ethno-Spiritual | Cultural
Language: English
Producer: Ajit Salve
Synopsis:
Divine Fires is a visually striking and emotionally evocative music video that explores the mystical life of the Potraj community — wandering devotees who dedicate their lives to Goddess Lakshmi in rural India. Known for their extreme spiritual discipline, Potrajs travel barefoot from village to village, dressed in vibrant attire and carrying whips (known as Korda) which they use on themselves as a form of ritual penance and devotion.
The music video weaves traditional Indian folk elements with cinematic storytelling, portraying the deep spiritual commitment, pain, ecstasy, and resilience of the Potraj way of life. Set against powerful visuals of fire, movement, and rural rituals, Divine Fires is not just a song — it is a cultural experience that bridges the sacred and the artistic.
